Depot NineRequest docking. The man on shift will hail you.

The Sealed Hold

Cargo in the sealed hold is not opened. Here is what goes into it and why it is there.

What we keep

  • Your crew roll entry: email, a password kept only in hashed form, the first name, birthday and gender you gave, and any lines you add about yourself in your berth.
  • Your channels, plus the brief notes each crewman holds about you so he can remember.
  • A session cookie for your berth, and a second that records your pass through the airlock check.
  • For each payment, the sum and the transfer reference. Card details never reach us; cards are not accepted here.
  • The server's routine logs, kept only briefly and only for security.

What it is for

To run the chat, enforce the regulations and keep the station online. Each message passes through an AI model running on servers we rent and control, or through a contractor bound to that same narrow job, and automated checks scan it for safety. No channel of yours is ever sold, and no advertiser gets to look.

Counting arrivals

A plain visitor counter records how many pilots dock and which region they fly in from. It sees nothing of what is said on any channel.

Your controls

From each chat's menu you can edit a crewman's notes on you, export the channel as a file for yourself, or wipe it. If you want the whole account struck from the roll, write to the station office from the email you signed with. If your local law grants you more, say so and you will get it.
